Construction Solicitor
Hunter Savage is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded Dublin law firm to recruit an experienced Construction Solicitor to join its established and growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor to:
- Work across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters
- Advise clients involved in significant construction and development projects
- Take ownership of complex files and key client relationships
- Play an important role in the continued growth of the practice

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Advise developers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, insurers, financial institutions and public bodies
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts and related project documentation
- Prepare professional appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees and bonds
- Advise on payment disputes, delays, disruption, defects and contractual risk
- Handle contentious matters involving adjudication, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings
- Manage complex matters independently from instruction through to resolution
- Lead client meetings and provide practical, commercially focused advice
- Supervise and support junior solicitors and trainees
- Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the construction practice
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least five years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong experience in contentious construction, non-contentious construction or both
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-management skills
- The ability to manage complex matters with a high degree of autonomy
- A commercial and practical approach to legal advice
- An interest in taking on greater responsibility and developing a long-term career with the firm
