Project Manager - Construction

Role: Project Manager

Client: Leading Main Contractor

Projects: Vary from commercial, to pharma and residential

Essentials: 7+ years' construction experience ; Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar ; Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial or industrial projects ; Strong commercial, programme and stakeholder management skills.

Location: Projects in and around Cork city

Salary: €80,000 - €100,000

Reporting into: Contracts Manager

 

• Lead the delivery of a major commercial construction project from inception through to completion.
• Manage and motivate the project team, driving performance across safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key project stakeholders.
• Oversee project planning, sequencing and programme management to ensure milestones and completion dates are achieved.
• Drive a strong health, safety, environmental and quality culture across the project.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor packages and supplier appointments in line with project requirements.
• Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets, manage costs and maximise project performance.
• Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and progress updates while leading client and project review meetings.
