Essentials: 5+ years of Engineering experience in Ireland; Engineering or related degree; significant experience with setting-out, managing sub-contractors & junior engineers
Location: Wexford
Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 (DOE)

A leading Main Contractor is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Engineer to join their team for a social housing scheme in Wexford. This role offers a unique chance to work on high-profile public and government contracts, contributing to the development of essential housing facilities.

• Oversee and manage daily site operations to ensure project milestones are met.
• Lead the coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team to maintain smooth workflow.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, ensuring their work aligns with project goals.
• Conduct site surveys, set out works, and ensure all construction activities comply with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of construction.
• Resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid project delays.
