Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Officer - Construction

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy & Compliance: Implement and maintain company EHS management systems, ensuring full compliance with statutory provisions and health & safety legislation.
   
• Advisory & Culture: Act as the subject matter expert, providing proactive guidance to management, employees, and sub-contractors to promote an incident- and injury-free workplace.
   
• Risk Management: Coordinate and review critical safety documentation, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Permits to Work.
   
• Training & Development: Deliver engaging site inductions, EHS training programs, and support site management with ongoing Toolbox Talks.
   
• Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular site audits and inspections, reporting findings to senior management and ensuring immediate corrective actions are taken.
   
• Incident Investigation: Lead incident investigations, identify lessons learned, and manage regulatory reporting to Directors, Insurers, and the Health & Safety Authority (HSA).
   
• EHS Administration: Maintain accurate EHS registers, generate monthly safety reports, and compile the final project Safety File for client handover.
