Role: Site Foreman
Client: Residential/Commercial Contractor
Essentials: Previous experience in Irish residential construction, with responsibility for subcontractor management, site operations, health & safety compliance, and quality assurance.
Location: Sligo
Salary: Up to €65,000

Reporting to: Site Manager
  • Health & Safety: Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and site safety procedures.
  • Programme Delivery: Review construction progress against project schedules, identify potential risks to delivery, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Site Management: Coordinate the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring activities are well organised and site operations run efficiently.
  • Quality Management: Monitor workmanship throughout the project, carry out routine inspections, and ensure completed works comply with project specifications.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Direct and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Resource Planning: Organise labour, materials, plant, and equipment to maximise productivity and maintain workflow across the site.
  • Construction Supervision: Oversee construction activities from initial groundworks through to final finishes, including external works and landscaping.
  • Project Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of site activities, including workforce allocation, materials, progress updates, inspections, and waste management.
  • Client & Team Liaison: Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, residents, and the wider project team to support the successful delivery of the project.
